Superlinks   The reinforced concrete structures are made up of concrete and TMT steel bars. The concrete has very low tensile strength and ductility and therefore reinforcement is required. The TMT steel bars are placed in the concrete to make the structure strong and durable. One of the important components of the construction is the ‘Stirrup’. It is a closed-loop reinforcement bar which is used to hold the primary bars together in the structures.  When used in columns its main purpose is to provide lateral support to the bars to prevent buckling. Stirrups are used in beams to help withstand the shear forces which is referred to as transverse reinforcement. The main purpose of the stirrups is to hold the primary reinforcement bars together.
